Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using HirePT ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Platform Description

HirePT is an online job marketplace that connects clients (who post jobs) with workers (who apply for jobs) in Portugal. We facilitate connections but are not a party to any employment or service agreement between users.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
• One person may only maintain one account.

4. Prohibited Conduct

• Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or profiles.
• Harassment, abuse, or threatening behavior toward other users.
• Attempting to circumvent the platform to avoid payments or agreements.
• Spamming or sending unsolicited communications.
• Any activity that violates Portuguese or European Union law.

5. Content & Listings

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant HirePT a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content on the Platform. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

HirePT is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of jobs or services posted, the truth or accuracy of user content, or disputes between users. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without notice, at our sole discretion.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Portugal.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
